Welsh Language Scheme

Summary

The Welsh Language Scheme was prepared in accordance with the Welsh Language Act 1993. The Scheme was approved by the Welsh Language Board under section 14 (1) of the Act on 23 November 2009.

We have adopted the principle that in conducting its public business in Wales, it will treat the Welsh and English languages on the basis of equality. This Scheme identifies how the GOC will administer this principle when providing services in Wales.
