GOC co-signs letter in support of optometrists and dispensing opticians during the COVID-19 emergency

We would like to thank our registrants for their continued efforts over the last 12 months throughout the physical and mental challenges of the COVID-19 emergency. Our registrants have continued to deliver safe care to patients and the public, and these efforts have not gone unnoticed.

We have signed a letter along with five other organisations, in recognition of the commitment optometrists, dispensing opticians and their support staff have shown to continue to deliver an essential primary healthcare service during such a challenging time in their professional careers.
