Nicholas Yeo joins Nominations Committee

We are pleased to share that Nicholas Yeo will be joining our Nominations Committee as an independent member. His appointment will begin on 1 September 2021.

Nicholas began his NHS career in 1984 as a Management Trainee after graduating from the University of Cambridge. After working in a variety of roles in Hampshire, Tyneside, East Anglia, Bristol and London, he was appointed to his first NHS Board Director role in 2001. 

Over the next 18 years he worked as a Board Director in the NHS, including 8 years as a Chief Executive, leading NHS Primary Care Trusts in Surrey and Sussex and Hampshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.  Most recently, Nicholas worked as a Non-Executive Director for Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust, leaving in 2019. Nick has just retrained as a teacher in Further Education, completing his Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Portsmouth in July 2021.  

As a member of the Nominations Committee, Nick will support his members to carry out Council and Committee appointment processes and appoint new members (excluding Council).
